0:14.7

Today is Wednesday, April 17th. Good morning, Kathy.

Good morning. In the news this morning, a two-year-old was abducted from her home in East Mount Airy overnight. The suspect broke a window to gain access to the house on Raw Street and then took the child around 2 a.m. Police don't believe the child is in any danger. Here's why. The suspect who has been talking to police on the phone is the mother's ex-boyfriend, the ex-boyfriend who says that he helped raise this child. So they don't think that this kid is in any danger, but they are trying to obviously find the child and get the child back to the mother. He claims to be the child's father, but the mother says that he is not. The suspect has been calling the mother's phone and talking to police. He says he's going to drop the child off, but that was about over an hour ago at this point. Police are stationed at different locations where they believe the suspect may drop the child off, but so far there's been no sighting of him. He is in the mother's car, so they are also searching for that vehicle. Police are in contact with the suspect and family members. Again, they don't believe the child is in danger, but the mother is at the police station waiting to be reunited with her two-year-old child. Six people were injured after a driver intentionally tried to run them over in North Philadelphia. Police say it happened yesterday at 350 in the afternoon at 16th in Lehigh. Police said they received a 911 call about a 44-year-old man trying to hit people with his gray
