Good morning. In the news this morning, a Philadelphia firefighter who suffered multiple injuries while battling a fire on Saturday morning remains hospitalized. Randy Ballinger,

with ladder 13 of the Philadelphia Fire Department, fell nearly 25 feet from a roof at a two-story

row home in the 1100 block of South Paxson Street in the city's King Sessing neighborhood.

A GoFundMe had been started by his fellow

firefighters to help his family with the cost of medical bills. His injuries listed online include

a collapsed lung, broken ribs, a broken pelvis, and multiple long bone fractures in both legs.

By Monday morning, the GoFundMe had raised over $44,000, reaching closer to its goal of $50,000.

Valenzhen in good spirits as he remains hospitalized.

He is expected to have more surgeries today on top of the procedures from over the weekend.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation and no other injuries were reported.

That is a long way.

A worker is dead after becoming trapped when an eighth floor balcony

collapsed in sea aisle. The collapse happened at 220 Friday on the 3,600 block of boardwalk at the

Spinnaker South Tower condo building. According to officials, a person working on the seventh floor

when the balcony collapsed, officials recovered the body of the man

just after 10 o'clock Friday night. The man has been identified as 43-year-old Jose Pereira of Philadelphia.
