In the news this morning, a two-year-old girl, the child's mother, and five teens were injured in a shing Thursday evening near a school in Philadelphia Strawberry Mansion section.

According to police, the shooting happened just before six in the evening near the intersection of 31st and Norris Streets near the James G. Blaine School just as an after-school program was wrapping up.

The two-year-old girl was shot once in the left

thigh and her 31-year-old mother was shot twice in the thigh, police said. The baby was taken to chop where she is listed in stable condition. The mother is also in stable condition. A 13-year-old boy was shot in the hand, a 16-year-old shot in the arm. A second 16-year-old male shot once in the right arm and once in the right thigh and a 17-year-old male suffered a grazed wound to the thigh.

All of them are listed in stable condition. A 15-year-old male was shot twice in the chest and he's listed in critical condition. The teen shot were students of the school district of Philadelphia. Police said they're looking for three males in connection with the shooting. The suspects were seen driving. They're saying 2011 to 2016 gray, four-door Hyundai Alantra with unknown Pennsylvania tags. No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting. I got to guess it's your memory of that case last year, teenagers shooting up another group of teenagerssboro. Yeah. Yeah. Like, come on, man.

This isn't far from there. I mean, and just from the skill shots we're looking, like they look like children that are shooting these guns. It is unbelievable. I mean, I think every day this week, there's been a shooting. And I woke up this morning and like, when I heard this, I'm like a two-year-old. Like it just keeps getting worse. It's not, you know, like every day for the past year there's been a sharing. So, yeah.

But hearing this, I'm like, a two-year-old, like, it just keeps getting worse. Like every day for the past year there's been a shooting, so. Yeah, but hearing this, again, the kids shooting at kids. It's just, you know, it defies, I mean, it's not a sane world. Yeah. How the hell they get in guns? It's unbelievable. Loved ones and the community at large will say their final goodbyes to Temple University Police Officer Christopher Fitzgerald today.

A procession began just a few minutes ago and is carrying the fallen officer from the John F. Givnish funeral home on Academy Road in Northeast Philadelphia to the Cathedral Basilica of St. Peter and Paul on Ray Street in Center City.
