All right, today is Thursday. It's February 22nd. Good morning, Kathy.

Good morning. In the news this morning, Philadelphia police are investigating a deadly shooting that ended with a van filled with children crashing into a building. It happened at 8.30 Wednesday night

in the Fern Rock section of the city. The 23-year-old woman driving the van is dead and five other

people, including three children, are now in the hospital. Yeah, the driver was pronounced dead at

the scene. Two women in their 20s and three children who were riding in the van were taken to Einstein Medical Center. Police said none of the five had any gunshot wounds but suffered from cuts and bruises sustained in the crash. The van was traveling northbound in the 5,700 block of Broad Street near the intersection of Broad and Grain Jab. Police said that they believe that's where the shots were fired. The driver then lost control

crashing the van at 5,800 Old York Road. Police are looking for a dark colored car with people

inside in relation to the shooting. Investigators said they're also looking for surveillance

video from the scene and speaking to witnesses to gather information as to exactly what happened.

Police said a Bucks County EMT traveled to South Jersey

to meet what he believed to be a 14-year-old girl that he solicited for sex on the internet.

According to authorities, 46-year-old Charles Amor of Warminster left work still dressed in his

uniform and traveled to South Jersey to meet whom he believed a 14-year-old girl to engage in sexual activities.

Instead, when he arrived, he was met and arrested by law enforcement officers.

Amor had actually been exchanging sexually explicit text messages with an undercover law enforcement officer.

Police said during the conversations, he made arrangements to meet the 14-year-old girl at an agreed-upon location in pensock and take her to a hotel in Pennsylvania to engage in sexual activities. God bless the people that do this and set the tracks, but I have to imagine it's got to be a bizarre world to live in when you're engaging these people. My neighbor does it. Does he? He does. And I've talked to him about it. Is that the guy we met?

You've met him a few times. Yeah. Yeah. Um, and does he say there's just sometimes like like a bad residual? It, no, it doesn't bother him. He's seen that side of people all the time. He's been in law enforcement for a long time and he knows what to expect and knows that those people out there there and he's seen justice be served enough times but um it's it's it's amazingly um easy to real that's not what you want to hear right yeah yeah it's very very scary uh well this guy is

charged with second degree loring attempted sexual assault attempted criminal sexual, and attempted endangering the welfare of a child.

He was released from the Camden County Correctional Facility with conditions while awaiting upcoming court proceedings.

Investigators said the charges were the result of an investigation conducted by the high-tech crimes unit of the Camden County Prosecutor's Office and the Department of Homeland Security Investigations Cherry Hill Division.

A standoff in Hatfield, Montgomery County ended after five hours.
