A center city man has been arrested for allegedly kicking a pregnant woman in the stomach for not giving him money.

Philadelphia police say 31-year-old Omar Palmer attacked the woman outside of the Dunkin Donuts at 11th and arched back on February 11th.

The victim, who was five months pregnant, told investigators Palmer asked for $2 when she told him that she had no money.

He allegedly attacked her. The woman was taken to the hospital for observation. Palmer is facing a number of charges, including aggravated assault on an unborn child. Authorities are investigating a murder-suicide at a health care facility in Washington Township, New Jersey. It happened at 8 a.m. Tuesday at the Jefferson Health Care Center Sub-acute Rehabilitation Unit on Egg Harbor Road in Sewell, New Jersey.

The Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office says 76-year-old Raymond McKenna shot his wife, 74-year-old Arlene McKenna, and then turned the gun on himself.

Medics rushed Arlene to Cooper University Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Raymond died at the scene. Yeah, the McKenna's were from Mullica Hill.

Authorities say Arlene was a patient at the rehab facility for some time, and her husband was a frequent visitor.

There was another patient in a part of the room at the time of the shooting.

She was not injured.

In a statement, the facility director says, we have comprehensive, consistent safety measures in place and ongoing training for our staff.

No weapons are allowed here.

Now, a thorough review will take place to ensure safety at our facilities.

Messiah Thompson King says that she's been playing basketball with her headdress since the sixth grade.

Since she was benched from the Mastery Charter Schools team for not taking off the headdress.
