A number of schools are delayed this morning, including all Philadelphia schools.

0:41.5

More snow, rain and a mixture of both is expected later Saturday, like Preston was mentioning, into Sunday.

0:46.9

We're expecting one to three inches in most areas with more accumulation in the Lehigh Valley about three to five inches and then in the Poconos six to 12 inches. Sunday is when we have that potential for a flash freeze. So Sunday going into Monday, on Sunday morning, we're going to see temperatures that are going to be as warm as the mid 40s. Yeah, yeah, with rain, right? Well, so yeah, so if we have temperatures in the mid 40s and we're still seeing precipitation, Yeah, it's all going to be rain so they're saying about 50% of the region we'll see heavy rain and a lot of ponding on the roadways so this is where the problem's going to be because behind that system meteorologists are saying there's an arctic air that's going to move into the area so by sunday afternoon temperatures are going to crash into the 20s so we're going to go from mid-40s to 20s by 1 o'clock in the afternoon on Sunday. But on the plus side on Monday, a lot of people will be off, right? Yeah, because it's Martin Luther King Day. My kids don't have school. There you go. There you go. I wonder if there's going to be like a definitive wall, right? Like a solid wall of ice?

1:45.4

Well, a solid wall of ice wind. You know what I mean? Like large chunks of ice blowing through the air? Like how, no. Is that what you mean? No, no, no. So it's not precipitation, the flash freeze. No, no, no. I'm talking about the air temperature. Oh, like, oh, I think I was saying, like in the cold air.

2:02.4

Yeah, the day after tomorrow, right?

2:04.0

Was that where Oh, like, okay, I know what you're saying.

2:01.2

Like in the cold air.

2:02.4

Yeah.

2:02.9

The day after tomorrow, right?

2:04.0

Was that where they, uh, I've never seen it? Yeah, yeah, yeah. There's like a polar vortex or something and the second they step out of the helicopter, they freeze. Yeah, something like that. That's probably what's going to happen. So by 1 o'clock on Sunday, we'll see temperatures in the mid-20s and then eventually into the single digits overnight.
