For some, the Christian life has been reduced to a one day a week church service experience,

and yet God, in His Word, teaches us that we are to walk with Him daily.

Today we look to God's Word to discover simple Bible principles that will help us as we live the daily better life. We want a better life. We want a better future, a better situation for our family, better health.

As a matter of fact, bookstores are filled with books on how to make things better.

Well, did you know that God wrote a book on better things? It's called the book of Hebrews.

And it's all about God. It's all about the person of the Lord Jesus Christ and the life that is found in him.

When you come to Hebrews chapter 3, there is an amazing emphasis on today. What you're going to do

today. Now remember that we're talking about the daily Christian life. Well, Hebrews chapter 3,

verse 7 says, wherefore is the Holy Ghost saith, today,

if you will hear his voice. Verse 15, while it is said, today, if you will hear his voice. Interesting.

Have you heard his voice today? Is he speaking to you today? And what is he saying? Well, in the same

chapter, in Hebrews chapter 3, verse 13, we read these words,

but exhort one another daily while it is called today, lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

Now he's writing to believers, of course.

He's talking about our relationship with one another.

And he's saying, look, today you have a ministry. You have a responsibility to one another. Sometime you should study all the one another's

We're not inventing some new thing. This is not man's idea.
