What's up, fantasy managers?

We'll start off, as always, with the transactions, injuries, news and notes from around the league.

We were lucky to come away with just one aisle placement as outfielder.

Kerry Carpenter was placed on the 10-day aisle with an AC joint sprain in his shoulder.

Carpenter sustained the injury after running into the outfield wall on Saturday.

The timeline is currently unclear, but Carpenter will miss at least the next week and a half.

Gage Workman was selected from the minors in a corresponding move, and he homered in his season debut.

Workman will see some time at third base for the Tigers, and when Seale Perez should see everyday playing time in the outfield,

mostly in right field where Carpenter saw the majority of his time,

but Carpenter also had some D.H.

So we'll see Colt Keith mix into D.H as well.

To make room for workmen on the 40-man roster,

starting pitcher Justin Furlander was transferred to the 60-day IAL as he continues to recover

from hip inflammation.

That means Verlander cannot return until late May now.

In terms of transactions, relief pitcher Ryan Walker was optioned to the minors.

Gregory Santos joined him as well on the bus to AAA.

And in corresponding moves, relief pitcher Sam Hensches was activated from the 15-day

IL after finally recovering from both shoulder and knee surgeries over the past

couple of years.

And joining him is relief pitcher Dylan Smith, who is recalled from the minors.
