Good morning, fantasy baseball friends. It's your old pal Mike Carter here with my good friend, Dave Funnel.

We are back for episode five, if you can believe that already, of breakfast with the beats.

Saturday morning, it's a beautiful day here outside of Chicago. Got another day of baseball

line up ahead of me in an hour or so and i'm here with dave and we're

going to kind of go through some things news and notes we're going to talk a little bit about some

injuries there's i don't know if any of you are aware there have been quite a few picture

injuries over the course of the last few weeks we're going to talk about that and break it all down

for you Dave good morning I want to comment that you

are wearing a Chicago white socks t-shirt with the old 70s and 80s style logo yes

sir for those of you who can't see Dave he's wearing a white sock shirt that's

got the old school logo which is the 1980s style, the blue socks script with the hitter with the

red batting gloves. It is an awesome shirt. I was going to wear my t-shirt that I bought

recently over the winter day. I don't know if you've seen it yet. I've won on a couple other

shows that I've been on with other folks, and it says, unfortunately, I'm a White Sox

fan on it. And I enjoy, I do enjoy wearing that. We are going to talk a little bit about the White Sox today, though, aren't we? So that'll be kind of fun to discuss them and where they're at. But how are you doing today, Dave? How's your week, man? My week's been okay. It's kindergarten and get ready for Mother's Day, so that's always fun.

But happy Mother's Day.

By the time this is out, happy Mother Day to all the mothers who are listening to us somehow,

some way you're spending your Mother's Day with us.

Well, my mother and the mother of my children will not be listening to this podcast because they have no interest in what we talk about, Dave. And that's not just baseball. I mean, that's in life either. I know nobody's really all that interested in what I have to say about anything. And men, please don't force your wives to listen to us? No. That's no.

I mean, who would want to do that? I mean, that's just, it's just crazy. I tell people all the time, they're like, oh, I'm going to listen to the podcast. I'm like, do you play fantasy baseball and they'll say no? And I'll say, well, then there's really no need for you to listen to the podcast. Well, like, we want to listen to you, Mike. No, you don't.

You really do the opposite of almost everything that I do.
