Today is the third day of September. Welcome to the daily audio Bible.

I am Brian. It is great to be here with you today as we do what we do gather around the global

campfire and an exhale it all, release it all, let it all go for a few minutes, center ourselves in the

scriptures, center ourselves in community. We're not alone. Whatever we got to go back

to, it'll be there. We can completely change our perspective of it though as we let God's word speak into our

lives and that's why we well that's why we show up around the global campfire

for each other every day.

So I am overjoyed that it's here.

For me, for you, that we can do this together.

We have wound our way into the book of Ecclesiasties now and we are

learning from a person who's done it all. Nothing has been off limits to this person. This person has won

everything, has gained the wisdom of the world, has accomplished has

a king and a king and is royal who has a thousand women

is a king and is royal who has a thousand women that are the most beautiful in all of the world from all

over the world, has enormous financial resources, has enormous real estate holdings, has enormous agricultural

enterprises, and it's kind of gotten to the other side of all that and is now asking himself what it all means.

What did I just do with my life? What do I have for all of this? How much I have

I have chased the wind. So let's continue that journey.

Ecclesiasties chapters four, five, and 6.

Again, I observed all the oppression that takes place under the sun. I saw the tears of the oppressed with no one to

comfort them. The oppressors have great power and their victims are helpless. So I concluded that the dad are better off

than the living, but most fortunate of all are those who are not yet born.
