It is wonderful to be here with you today as we gather again around the global campfire and take the next step forward together, which leads us right exactly to where we left off yesterday.

We concluded Paul's first letter to Timothy yesterday so when we get to the new

testament we'll be going into another letter known as second Timothy.

I'm gonna talk about that when we get there. But first, Jeremiah,uchadnezzar and the Babylonian army began their attack on Jerusalem.

They kept the city surrounded for a year and a half.

Then on the ninth day of the fourth month of the 11th year that Zetahaya was king.

They broke through the city walls.

After Jerusalem was captured, Nebuchadnezzar's highest officials, including Nebo Sarsikim, a Nurgal-Chirazer from Shimakar, took their places at Middlegate to show they were in control of the city.

Zetakaya's sons were killed there in front of him, and so were the leaders of Judah's ruling families. Then his eyes
