I am Brian.

It is awesome to be here with you today.

Awesome that there is this place to be.

I say it a lot, but there is not a day that I am

not grateful that this place exists for us. One of the peaceful places in my life, hopefully in your life as well, a place to come,

leave it all outside the campfire.

We can go back to it.

We can leave the campfire, pick it all up and just drag it around,

or maybe we have perspective from the scriptures and show us a better way to carry some of these things

and how to jettison the ones that just don't belong being carried their dead weight.

I'm grateful that we can do this together.

And so here we are, ready to take our next step forward.

Our next step forward always picks right up exactly where we left off.

That is in the book of Jeremiah currently.

Today, chapters 42 verse 1 through 44.

verse 23. V

I Hohan Nan, Jazinaya, the other army officers and everyone else in the group came to me and said please

Jeremiah Pray to the Lord your God for us. Judah used to have many people but as can see, only a few of us are left.

Ask the Lord to tell us where he wants us to go, and what he wants us to do.
