It's a joy to be here with you today as we've reached the conclusion of another week, and so we look back.

We always look forward at the beginning of the week, and we get to the end of the week, and now we look back. We always look forward at the beginning of the week and we get to the end of the

weekend now we look back.

How did it go?

Reflecting helps us grow.

How did our intentions at the beginning of the week play out?

We can kind of review this and become self-aware and paying attention to the things that have happened and the choices that we've made.

We can really, truly, deeply grow from that and the scriptures continually lead us forward.

And so grateful to be here with you today as we conclude another one of our weeks together.

We are continuing our journeys through Jeremiah and First Thessalonians.

So let's dive in. Jeremiah, chapter 16, verse 16 through 18, verse 23 today.

But now I will send for many fishermen declares the Lord, and they will catch them.

After that I will send for many hunters and they will hunt

them down on every mountain and hill and from the crevices of the rocks. My eyes are on all

their ways. They are not hidden from me, nor is their sin concealed from my eyes. I will repay them double for their wickedness and their sin,

because they have defiled my land with the lifeless forms of their vile images,

and have filled my inheritance with their detestable idols.
