Today is the 12th day of October. Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I am Brian. Welcome to a brand new, shiny, sparkly week. It is great to be here with you today. And it is, it is our rhythm to pay attention to the fact that we're beginning a brand new week.

52 times we get to do this. Every time we do a revolution around the sun and through the entire

Bible. So we pay attention.

It's not as many times as you think, but it's 52 resets.

Because every week is telling a story.

It's another chapter in the book of our lives.

And if we pay attention at the beginning and then reflect at the end, then we are kind of getting in the practice of being self-reflective, self-aware, paying attention to the

impact of our own lives instead of simply paying attention to everyone else's impact on

us.

And when we can take charge and be aware and paying attention to the fact that we are writing

the story of our lives, well, then we can actually make the significant kind of changes

that seem to be elusive to us.

So here we are.

Beginning of another brand new sparkly week.

And we're all out in front of it.

See that?

Look at that vista.

Look at that.

Look at those rolling hills of the new week.

Brand new sparkly nothing nothing has gone right or wrong we're just going to walk through it and if we walk through it with intentionality

paying attention choosing in advance the way that we are going to respond, the kind of posture of heart we're going to keep.

Well, then we got a chance.
