Great to be here as we draw near to the end of another week, but it doesn't really

Right now in the Old Testament we are working through the book of First Samuel

and we are intertwined with David and King Saul.

David is a national hero, and he is an upstanding person, and he's doing everything he's instructed to do.

The king just wants him to be dead because he is showing

superiority like he has the heart of the people and the king who is very very insecure

he has a real problem and so he wants David to die and he's trying to figure out how that can
