Today is the sixth day of May. Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I'm Brian. It's great to be here

with you today as we gather again around the global campfire and take the next

step forward.

On our journey here in the scriptures, began well we ended the book of judges and we kind of

moved out of that territory and then we have this story of Ruth that comes after the book of judges.

It's in the times of the judges.

So everybody's doing what's right in their own eyes, but some people do it is right. And this is a picture of that. And so we began the story of Ruth yesterday.

We'll conclude that today by reading Ruth, chapters 2 through 4.

Now Naomi had a relative on her husband's side of the family named Boas.

He was a wealthy prominent man from the clan of Elimylimylac.

One day Ruth, the Moabite, said to Naomi,

Let me go to the fields so I can gather grain behind whoever permits me to do so.

Naomi replied, you may go, my daughter.

So Ruth Wynne and gathered grain in the fields behind the harvesters.

Now she just happened to end up in the portion of the field belonging to Boas, who was from the clan of a limelac.

Now at that very moment Boas arrived from Bethlehem and greeted the Harves

May the Lord be with you.

They replied, may the Lord bless you.

Boaz asked his servant in charge of the harvesters,

to whom does this young woman belong?

The servant in charge of the harvesters replied,

she's the young Moabai woman who came back with Naomi from the region of
