Today is the 12th day of July.

Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I am Brian.

It is wonderful to be here with you today

as we gather yet again.

Gonna collect ourselves here around the global campfire.

And move forward into the day, toward the weekend, into life.

We are going into some new territory today when we get to the new testament.

The complexion is going to change now.

So we'll move into some letters, and we'll talk about that when we get there,

but we'll be beginning the book of of Romans and that's epic.

But we'll talk about that when we get there.

We're also in the book of First Chronicles

and we've kind of come out of the genealogies for the most part moving into the narrative story

and working through

David's life at this point

First Chronicles chapter 12 verse 19 through 14 verse 17.

Some of the menasites also joined David when he came with the Philistines for the battle against

all.

But he didn't help them because after considering the matter the Philistine ruler sent him away

He'll rejoin his master Saul they said and it will cost us our heads

When he went to Zick Lag cost us our heads.

When he went to Zick Lag, some joined him from Manassa.
