As we come in again from the storms of life, the chaos, the swirl of it all, the obligations,

the responsibilities, the entanglements, the relationships, the misspoken words, the well-placed words, the

missteps, the good steps.

We have been doing that for a very long time.

This is the 19th year of doing this every day. So it is a rhythm and the rhythm has brought us this year to

First Chronicles and we are in the Book of First Chronicles and we have moved through the genealogies the very kind of famous portion of the scripture that is the genealogies

So we're continuing forward in this story and some of this might feel like review from like

first and second Samuel and first and second Kings because we're covering the same territory but

this is more of a look back. Things have changed pretty dramatically and the people are in exile.

And this is a look back.
