And I usually have that done before I start.

Anyway, we're here around the global campfire.

No matter what's going on, no matter where we are, no matter how we are.

And I am grateful to be here with you today as we come back together and show up,

show up for our own hearts, show up for each other, open our hearts to God, open our hearts to the scriptures,

and take the next step forward.

And that next step forward leads us back into the book of first chronicles at this point.

And like we've been saying, this is the famous genealogy portion of the Bible.

And I guess we've talked about it enough that these names matter, that these names are lives,

that these names depict the origin of the Hebrew people who have then carried into exile

at this point.

And so this is a remembrance and a knitting together of identity so that they don't forget who they are.

And that really encompasses about the first nine chapters of First Chronicles.

And we are well underway.
