Today is the 12th day of January. Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I am Brian. And here we are. Beginning a new week.

Brand new, shiny, sparkly week. Right out there in front of us.

We're like throwing the gate open and walking into it and just look at that.

Just look out over that vista.

That's gonna be our week.

We're gonna walk that path.

And man, it can be a week of complete and total destruction, if that's what we make of it.

Or it can be a week that we live into understanding how much grace and mercy we are consuming.

And we can walk humbly.

And we can now begin to recognize the voice of wisdom, understanding that every choice that we make is a crossroads.

I want right out here in the beginning of the year, so that is unfolding out before us as well.

And same thing.

The decisions that we make each day add up to our weeks, and those weeks add up to our months.

And that adds up to a year.

And we make of it what we will because circumstances are

going to fly our way absolutely everything's going to come flying at us i was having lunch with a friend

the other day.

And he's like, I've learned that I don't have to rush into every battle.

They're already coming for me.

I don't have to engage with everything.

It's just taking that beat to say, God, what do I need to know?

And what do I need to do?
