It's great to be here with you.

It is exactly six months from my wife's birthday.

So I'm counting down the days.

It's great to be here with you today.

As we continue to move in, get settled for this grand adventure of a lifetime through a year together.

And through the entire Bible together.

I am grateful. I'm glad that we can be here around the global campfire, gathering again,

cozying up, letting God's words speak into our lives.

We are well into the book of Genesis now.

After a few days, a lot has happened.

We've covered over a thousand years, and we are in the very famous story of Noah

and the Ark.

Today, Genesis, chapters 8, 9, and 10.

But God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and the livestock that were with him in the

ark. And he sent a wind over the earth, and the waters receded. Now the springs of the deep

and the floodgates of the heavens had been closed, and the rain had stopped falling from the sky.

The water receded steadily from the earth. At the end of the 150 days,

the water had gone down, and on the 17th day of the seventh month, the ark came to rest on

the mountains of Ararat. The waters continued to recede until the 10th month, and on the first day of the tenth
