Hello and shaken saints. I'm Jared Halverson and welcome to Ohio. We are now in

Curtland. We finally made it. Last week we were studying the call to come, to gather to the Ohio.

I'm going to give you my law. I'm going to, you're going to be endowed with power from on high.

Amazing moment in church history. The New York period is now officially behind us.

And by the time we start in with this week's material, which is Doctor in Covenant 41 through 44,

Joseph Smith himself has already come to Curtland himself.

And the kinds of revelations the Lord is going to begin pouring out upon the saints here,

it's amazing. More revelations in the Curtland period than all of the others.

And the kinds of things the church is going to need to know to be able to navigate some interesting things.

Spiritually, socially, economically, that's in fact where we're going to be today.

When they said, when the Lord said back in Section 37, to go and I'll give you those two things, the law and an endowment of power, for the endowment, we're going to have to wait a while.

We're going to have to wait for the Curtland Temple to be built.

And for that, we've got a lot more sections.

109 and 110 are the ones where we're going to see the Curtland Temple.

But as far as receiving the law,

we didn't have to wait long for that at all. It's here today. Section 42 is kind of the

landmark section for this week's study. It is one worth spending a lot of time in. But 41 and 43

and 44 deserve our attention as well, so we're going to spend some time there too.

As far as just a quick summary of what these four revelations are going to be all about,

41, Joseph and Sidney Rigdon have now arrived in Kirtland.

There's a man named Lehman Copley who has a lot of property and is willing to share.

He's a wonderful man.
