To think these things through clearly has to be done in every generation.

It's why you need pastor theology people.

It's why you need seminaries or structural organizations that are giving people a context in which to work these things out.

And how to address those changes is important, but you don't want to address them as if we're the first person

to have invented this particular sin.

It's complicated.

The forms in which these things shake out

are going to be shaped by cultural siren calls.
