I love that there's a bit of a resurgence of hymns just across the Christian music industry right now.

It seems like there is. I don't think there's ever been a better or more sweeter time for something like this to come out.

And I love even the day and age that we live in where it's just, it's available to so many people so broadly, who just desperately need to be shaped by these types of lyrics.

Brian Fowler is a Grammy award-winning songwriter and producer.

He's written from many different Christian artists,

and his songs have hit number one on Christian radio several times over.

He's also a contributor to the brand-new sing hymn, which is now available. Brian, thanks so much for joining me today on the Crossway podcast. Man, I am so happy to be here. I'd love to start just by having you share a little bit about your life today. So where are you from? Where do you live? Tell me a little bit about your family. And what do you spend your time doing these days?

Oh, that's a great question.

So my family, I have a wife, Lacey.

We've been married 10 years.

We have two kids, Dakota, who is about to turn 8,

and then Sunday who just turned 6.

We have lived in Franklin, Tennessee for about 10 years.

Yeah, and so we love Franklin.

It's our town.

It's so great.

What I've been spending my time on mostly lately,

besides writing songs, is renovating a historic home with my wife in downtown Franklin.

And so it's been a fun project. It just kind of

speaks to both of our passions trying to beautify something, revitalize something. And so, yeah.
