I think probably the most important thing, Nate, is to put the responsibility on yourself

to make sure the communication happens.

So often I hear excuses of things like language barrier, they weren't there, all these different

things.

When you eliminate those excuses and you put the onus on yourself to take care of that,

half the battle is met.

People will allow you to struggle through a couple of miscommunications or miscues

if they know that you're trying to communicate with them.
