So let's break down some of those tools individually.

0:17.5

No, we've got, like we said, you have tons of gadgets over there.

0:21.5

Well, and I guess since we're already on the track man, so what does the trackman do? What is it exactly helping?

0:26.5

What is it showing? Yeah, so the trackman itself is a is a ball tracking system. We have one in the

0:33.3

stadium that literally it's tracking the ball on everything that the ball does at any point in time

0:40.1

we also have a two units one in our cages for hitting so it's tracking everything off of a hitting

0:45.5

in one of our cages and then we have obviously the one in the pitchers lab which you guys have seen

0:49.5

the pitchers lab before so we've got that where it's tracking everything that that is thrown in a

0:53.4

bullpen so it tracks everything like spin rates and exit velocities. I mean, so we get a,

0:59.7

you get an Excel file, a CSV file after every game. And the number of rows on the Excel

1:06.8

file is is incredible. I don't know what a lot of it even still means. A lot of it is just like

1:12.1

it's a ton of numbers that, yeah, we try to narrow in and focus on the things that we know are

1:16.7

really helpful. Right. If you look at all your equipment, if there's pieces in the last, say,

1:23.4

four or five years, has there been anything that you feel like has really been a game changer

1:30.8

as far as maybe your top pieces that you really look at that really has made a difference in the

1:39.4

game for you mean like specific numbers within the track manual? right or any piece of equipment you have yeah

1:45.4

well I mean we're still on the you know the the early stages of having the the force plate

1:52.8

data so obviously we've got the force plate mound and and you know coach west is is phenomenal

1:58.4

with that stuff and right I just love sitting there and learning more about it just watching guys throw bullpins. But we've also got now a swing catalyst for hitting. So we've got a force plate for hitting now, which me and Chief, our hitting coach just got, we got that in about a month ago. So we're still really early with that. But when it comes to, you know, the track man unit is definitely the one that we use on a daily basis in the information that it gives

2:22.3

you know it's really the piece where you can you know and on the pitching side

2:27.0

you can really tweak you know pitch development you can see trends of like

2:31.8

where you know where the change in like a pitch type or a grip or something, how much it's actually affecting what the ball does.
