LSU baseball players we got Braden jobert Jordan Thompson guys appreciate your time

Yeah, of course. Thank you for having us. Yeah. All right. So let's jump in. I'll kind of ask you both the same questions. We'll just go back and forth. But talk about your journey here. We literally just recorded one with a couple of transfers that came in, but you guys came here. Well, I guess you did transfer technically yeah so but you've been here and you've had some longevity

LSU I'll start with you, just mostly because you're sitting closer to me. But talk about your path to LSU. I think you spent, what, a year at Nichols. Yeah. So shout out to the colonels, fellow Nichols State alma mater. Talk about your path through college baseball, I think what would interest me about college baseball in particular, probably more than any sport is there are so many paths here. Like if you sat down and surveyed the LSU team, like everyone kind of took a different journey in other sports. It's a little more uniform. But for yourself, going to Nichols out of high school eventually making your way here

and then sort of settling in what's that journey been like did you grow up an lSU fan was it always a

dream to play here and then you found your way here kind of kind of walks to what that was like for you

yeah man growing up in louisiana you know i've always been an lsu fan i've always come to the games

growing up my dad actually played at nichols so out of high school, I was committed to Alabama, and I decommitted from there. Boo. When did he play Nichols? 98 and 99. So he came here. I think the last regional Nichols made was at LSU when he was on the team. My dad played at Nichols, but a lot earlier than 98, 99, yeah, like 70s, yeah. Yeah, man. So, you know, it was an easy decision for me, my junior year to commit there. I wanted to follow my dad's footsteps and try to become a good baseball player over there. But, you know, my freshman year was the COVID season. And that was a blessing in disguise for me because, you know, I put together a good year as a freshman.

And, you know, right when COVID hit, I got a call from Coach Nolan Kane.

And it was an offer that I obviously couldn't turn down unless she has been my dream ever since I was a little kid.
