Follow me down the rabbit hole. I am your host, Danny. And today, back by popular demand, we're doing current events. You guys basically write this for me. I don't have to do hardly anything. I find that enough of you will send me things that are happening currently. And that's what I'm like, yep, I should do another current events episode. So to everyone that has shared things with me, sent things to me about what is happening in our world.

Thank you. Let's get into it. So we're going to talk about the Baltimore Bridge again. I know we

already talked about it last time. We're going to talk about it again because it really, we need to.

So a quick recap on On March 26th,

a container ship lost power and hit a bridge support causing the Francis Scott Key Bridge to collapse.

So this happened in the middle of the night about 1.30 a.m. and six construction workers who

were working on the bridge died. At the time, eight were missing.

They recovered two. One of them was fine. One of them was in critical condition. Six died.

About 11 hours later, so literally the next morning, President Biden came out and said,

quote, I told them we're going to send all the federal resources they need as we

respond to this emergency. And I mean all the federal resources. And we're going to rebuild that

port together, end quote. So he was fully on board for the federal government to just pay for it.

Like no questions. No like, hmm, that's weird. Why did that happen? Let's do an investigation before we decide who pays for it. Like no questions, no like, hmm, that's weird.
