not alone. In this episode number 233 I'm chatting with one of my favorite mentors Sally

Clarkson.

You are really looking for those women who call you to your best self and so I would always

kind of watch for women like when I went to church who seem to have a sort of just a

you know the way they talked the life they had lived the things that they did. If I found

someone that was an older than me or why is it the me or taught the Bible study or whatever

I would just say it would mean so much to me if we could just get together I would love

to pick your brain. I think that's one of the things that we talk about in the book is

that God really wants us to grow but he really made us to breathe in oxygen of love in our

lives in order to be able to grow it's kind of like water to our souls so because we moved

so much I had to be very intentional about beginning to look for women who would help

me to grow.

I think a lot of us know that we quote unquote should be cultivating friendships but we're

either at a loss as to how to do that or we're exhausted from pouring out to the immediate

people in our homes at our workplaces and so making time to intentionally invest in those

relationships just feels like a luxury. Well Sally's here today to encourage us in forming

our own little girls clubs whatever that looks like whether you're an introvert or an

extrovert she's moved a lot she's got advice for you as she's even moved into the Oxford

recently. We even talk about cultivating relationships with our kids and between our kids I

don't know about you if you all have one child that might be a little more challenging
