Hey, welcome back to the Catholic Sprouts podcast where we are reading the Gospels this school year.

Today is day 136 of this journey.

Today we will be reading chapter 17 versus 1 through 21 of Luke's gospel,

and in this we will hear the story of Jesus cleansing 10 lepers. As usual, I am reading from the new American translation of the Bible, but before we dive in, let's pray.

In the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, amen.

Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful, and kindle in them the fire of your love.

Send forth your spirit, and they shall be created created and you will renew the face of the earth. Amen.

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, amen. A reading from the Holy Gospel

according to Luke, chapter 17, verses 1 one through 21 he said to his disciples things that cause sin

will inevitably occur but woe to the person through whom they occur it would be better for him

if a millstone were put around his neck and he was thrown into the sea than for him to cause one of these little ones to sin.

Be on guard.

If your brother's sins, rebuke him.

And if he repents, forgive him.

And if he wrongs you seven times in one day and returns to you seven times saying, I am sorry, you should forgive him.

And the apostle said to the Lord, increase our faith. The Lord replied, if you have faith the size of a

mustard seed, you would say to this mulberry tree, be uprooted and planted in the sea, and it would obey you.

Who among you would say to your servant, who has just come in from plowing or tending the sheep in the field,

come here immediately and take your place at table? Would he not rather say to him,
