| 0:40.1 | Hey there, Sprouts. Today is Wednesday, May 11th, 2020. Now, all week, we have been hearing from my younger sister, who is a fully professed nun in the community of the lamb. And she has already talked about how she knew she was called to religious life about her own community called the community of the lamb. |
| 0:46.0 | And today she's going to talk about what it means or feels like to be married to Jesus, |
| 0:52.7 | including since she is a fully professed sister, what it means to have made |
| 0:58.7 | that commitment for the rest of her life. To be married to Jesus, it's like to have your best friend |
| 1:07.0 | always with you. So maybe your mom and dad, they're good friends, they spend some time together, |
| 1:13.3 | but me, I get to have Jesus with me all the time because he's in my heart. And I can talk to him |
| 1:18.6 | all the time, even when I'm doing something else, even when I'm talking to somebody else, |
| 1:23.3 | I can always have this conversation with Jesus in my heart where he tells me, above all what he does, is he tells me how much he loves me. |
| 1:31.7 | Because I love Jesus a lot, but even more so, it's Jesus who loves me. |
| 1:38.1 | So that's why I'm so privileged to be the bride of Christ, to be Jesus's bride, because he just tells me all the time how much he loves |
| 1:47.2 | me. When you enter in religious life, it's like you take different steps. It's kind of like |
| 1:53.7 | when people are dating, first they get to know each other, you know, then they get a little more |
| 1:59.4 | serious, they maybe ask, they get get engaged and then they get married. |
| 2:02.7 | Well, it's kind of like that in religious life. |
| 2:04.0 | We take our time because we really want to get to know the community where we are, |
| 2:08.1 | what they're going to, what we're going to live. |
| 2:10.6 | And above all, we really want to make sure that this yes that I'm going to say is a really free yes. |
| 2:16.5 | It's like I'm putting all my freedom behind it and |
| 2:20.0 | no one's forcing me to do it or I'm not doing this because I think this thing or that thing, |
| 2:24.4 | but really because I want to say yes in freedom to Jesus. And so when you make your final vows, |
| 2:30.8 | it's when you promise to be faithful onto death. So that means until death, I'm going to be here |
