Hey there, Sprouts. Today is Thursday, January 6th, 2021. Today is also the feast of the Epiphany. Yay, the Epiphany is such a fun feast. And in case you don't know, today we celebrate the three wise men,

journeying across the desert, following the star,

ultimately finding Jesus and worshiping him.

Of course, they bring him fabulous gifts of gold,

frankincense, and myrr.

But what I love to reflect on is that on Christmas Day,

we have the Jewish people,

the God's chosen people

that have been waiting for their Messiah,

they come and worship Jesus.

And of course, the Jewish people

are represented by the shepherds

whom the angels appear to, told them where to go to find Jesus. And of course, the Jewish people are represented by the shepherds whom the angels appear to,

told them where to go to find Jesus. And so they are there worshipping Jesus. But today on the

epiphany, we celebrate the rest of the world, also known as the Gentiles, traveling and coming to worship Jesus. And unless you are 100% a Jewish person,

which is cool if you are, but most of us listening probably aren't, you are represented in the

Three Kings. So this is the day that we celebrate the rest of the world, the non-Jewish people

finding Jesus, searching for him, rest of the world, the non-Jewish people, finding Jesus,

searching for him, walking across the desert, following the star, persevering through all of that,

finding him and worshiping him.

So it's almost like a second to Christmas for all of us.
