| 0:00.0 | You're listening to Catholic Sprouts, the daily podcast for Catholic kids that strives to plant seeds of faith. |
| 0:25.6 | Greetings young Squire Sprouts. Today is the 27th day in the 10th month in the year of our Lord 2021. |
| 0:32.5 | My name is Sir Roland Paterla and I am your host this week on Catholic Sprouts, where we are learning about |
| 0:37.5 | dragon slaying. On Monday, we talked about what a dragon is, the temptation to sin, the obstacles to |
| 0:43.5 | becoming a saint. On Tuesday, we talked about reconciliation and how we can be healed of all |
| 0:49.1 | dragon wounds by identifying our dragons, by doing an examination of conscience, which I hope you did, |
| 0:54.6 | and learning about those dragons so we can slay them. |
| 0:57.2 | Today, we are finally getting to that answer, that question, how do we slay a dragon? |
| 1:01.8 | What is the most powerful force in the universe to slay a dragon? |

| 1:07.5 | The answer to that question, young sprouts, is, of course, super natural grace. |

| 1:18.8 | It's not like slaying a hippopotamus or something. Like, I'm not sure why you would slay hippopotamus, |
| 1:23.0 | but it's not like slaying any kind of animal or something that you can see. You can't use a bow or an arrow or a gun or a knife or something like that. You need a supernatural weapon to slay a supernatural enemy, |
| 1:33.2 | and so we need supernatural grace. That's the greatest power, the greatest force to slay dragons |
| 1:38.9 | and our great Catholic Church, our great Catholic family of faith, gives us so many opportunities to receive |
| 1:45.0 | this supernatural power and grace. Yesterday, we talked about reconciliation and going to confession |
| 1:50.4 | and how it can heal our dragon wounds, but not only does it heal wounds, it actually gives you |
| 1:55.4 | grace, just like all the sacraments, it gives you power to slay dragons moving forward. |
| 2:00.5 | And the most powerful |
| 2:01.7 | sacrament, the source and summit of our faith that of a course is the Eucharist, the body, blood, |
| 2:07.0 | soul and divinity of Jesus, the chief dragon slayer. Where we get to consume Jesus, we get to |
