You're listening to Catholic Sprouts, the daily podcast for Catholic kids that strives to plant seeds of faith. Hey there, Spouts. Today is Monday, October 11th, 2021. Now, today we are embarking on a little bit

0:32.4

different focus, but the same journey that we have been on for the last month. So before we get there, let's just review how far we've come.

0:40.8

We spent the last four weeks proving to ourselves that Catholicism is true, that it's the truth.

0:50.7

Now, to do this, we started at the very beginning.

0:53.2

We looked for clues that God exists, and we found some in our own morality and in the universe itself.

1:01.9

Next, we looked at why religion are having a set list of beliefs and a specific way in which we worship is good, why religion is so helpful

1:13.0

and beautiful for human beings so that we aren't just out there wandering around trying to

1:46.2

But of course, the journey did not end there.

1:49.1

There are thousands of Christian denominations, including Lutheranism, Methodists, all sorts of them.

1:57.0

So we next had to examine why Catholicism is the true version of Christianity.

2:04.1

And we did this by looking at all sorts of things, but specifically about writings from the early

2:10.8

church that said that the church founded by Jesus Christ was one holy, and apostolic and the only church that fits all four of

2:24.2

those criteria is a Catholic church. So our faith, the Catholic faith is true. But because God is so good, because he spoils us, he doesn't stop there. He says, yes,

2:39.7

believe because this is true. But I'm going to prove to you how true it is by demonstrating

2:47.7

that it is good, that it will make you a good human being, that it will make the world better.

2:54.2

That's what our faith does.

2:56.1

But he doesn't even stop there.

2:57.7

He says, you believe that this is true and good because it is beautiful.
