Today is Thursday, October 7th, 2021.

Today is also the feast day of Our Lady of the Rosary, also known as Our Lady of Victory.

This is a great feast day where we commemorate an entire Italian army praying the rosary when they were hopelessly outnumbered and how Mary came and fought

beside them and they had a miraculous victory. So let's always put our hope and our trust

in Mary and cling to the rosary. Now this week we are talking about why Catholicism is the true

version of Christianity. Yesterday we talked about how Christ left behind a church and not just a Bible and how it is the church, along with the

Bible, that helps guide us and inspire us with where the Holy Spirit is leading us, especially

in these modern times. Now, today, we are going to go back to the early church because the

Nicene Creed, which is something we recite often, which states our beliefs, it breaks down

four criteria, four marks of the true church, the true version of Christianity.

We have four words, and these four words should be applied to the Catholic Church,

if the Catholic Church really is the church founded by Christ, the true version of Christianity.

So if you remember the prayer, these four words are, the church must be

one holy, Catholic, and apostolic. One holy Catholic and apostolic. So these words might mean a little

bit different meaning than you're thinking right now.

So let's go through and examine our church. Is it true that our church is all of these things?

So the first one, one. Now, in order for a church to be one, it means that all the people are united in a single belief.

That communicated down through the ages and from the authority of the Pope, there is a clarity of belief.
