Hey there, Sprouts. Today is Tuesday, October 5th, 2021. Today is also the feast day of St. Faustina. Now, St. Faustina was a Polish nun that lived not too long ago. but we know St. Faustina most for the visions that she received of Christ.

And these visions have become known as the divine mercy.

The divine mercy is an image, a prayer, a novena, a feast day.

But the image of the divine mercy shows Christ standing before us, taking a step closer to us.

He is gesturing toward his heart.

And from his heart are coming rays of red and blue light.

This reminds us of when his heart was pierced on the cross and blood and water flowed forth.

Blood symbolizing the Eucharist, water reminding us of our baptism.

I trust in you, remind us that God is an ocean of mercy. No matter what we have done,

Yesterday, we looked at history, and we were reminded that for the first 1,500 years of the 2,000 years since Christ, there was one church, and that church was the Catholic Church.
