Today is also the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi.

St. Francis of Assisi is one of the most loved saints in the Catholic faith.

He founded the Franciscan Order, which is still alive and well today.

He was born into a very rich family in Assisi, Italy, But after a deep conversion, he gave up everything to follow Christ.

He lived as a beggar.

He received the mystical wounds of Christ called stigmata.
