| 0:00.0 | You're listening to Catholic Sprouts, the daily podcast for Catholic kids that strives to plant seeds of faith. |
| 0:38.8 | Hey there, Sprouts. Today is Friday, September 17th, 2021. Now I know it has been a big week on the Catholic Spouts podcast, and maybe your head is swimming and all of the deep philosophy that we have been doing. |
| 0:46.6 | But remember, we have been searching for God. And since God does not exist in time or space, we can't see him at a certain time or touch him, we had to go to philosophy to truly find evidence for God. And we did. We found |
| 0:57.8 | evidence through our universe, because of course, scientists say the universe had a beginning. |
| 1:03.8 | But what caused it to begin? The only explanation is a force outside of the universe, |
| 1:10.5 | outside of time and space. |
| 1:12.5 | And that has to be God. |
| 1:15.0 | Next, we looked at morality. |
| 1:16.8 | All of those feelings of right and wrong, the people no matter what culture they grew up in, what language they speak, what political system they live in, they all agree. |
| 1:25.4 | It is wrong to steal. |
| 1:26.6 | It is wrong to lie. it is wrong to hurt another |
| 1:29.0 | person. We all agree on these things, but where did this morality come from? Well, clearly, |
| 1:35.3 | it came from a creator that left his very fingerprints on our soul. And finally, we looked at |
| 1:43.8 | intelligent design, that it just is so impossible |
| 1:48.5 | that human beings sort of evolved into being by chance, that this world just happened to come |
| 1:56.7 | together in this intelligent and understandable way. Instead, we know that the world and human beings |
| 2:05.6 | themselves had an intelligent designer, the supreme intelligence, God himself. |
| 2:14.7 | And so, suppose, I hope this has given you something to think about. |
| 2:18.4 | You know, our whole lives, we will spend searching for God. |
| 2:22.9 | And sometimes our belief in God will be so strong. |
| 2:26.0 | You'll feel so near and this proof will seem so real. |
| 2:30.0 | And other times it won't feel that way. |
