0:49.9	Today is Monday, September 20th, 2021.
1:04.5	Now, this week we are on week two of our defense of the faith, or ways that we are coming to explain and grow deeper in our faith because here is the evidence.
1:15.6	Last week we started with God. How can we prove that God exists? And we found evidence for this in the morality that was written within each of our souls, in the way the earth was created by an intelligent designer,
1:19.6	and by the fact that even the universe had a beginning.
1:23.6	So that beginning had to be started by something big and awesome. God.
1:31.5	So today we are going to move on to step two, where we are going to be talking about religion.
1:37.7	Now, just so you know, there are lots of religions in this world.
1:41.6	We belong to the Christian faith, specifically the Catholic Christian
1:48.3	faith. But of course, there are many religions. The big ones include Judaism, Islam, Hindu, Buddhism,
1:58.2	and of course Christianity. Now, all of these are religions. And what we are going to be
2:05.6	talking about this week, remember we're still at the beginning of this argument. We're going to
2:11.1	talk about the fact that religion is good. Now this is something that has been brought
2:17.4	into question only recently.
2:20.7	Before these modern times, it was just taking for granted that religion was good.
2:27.5	But before we get to that, we need to understand, well, what is religion?
2:33.1	Well, religion is a set of beliefs and practices that connect one to God.
2:43.5	So their beliefs and practices. So if we think about this, in our Catholic faith, in our religion, right, we have a formalized way to worship.
2:57.2	And that would be Holy Mass.
2:59.9	Now, you probably have picked up on the fact that each time you show up at Mass, the priest isn't making it up from scratch, right? There are, there's an order,
