0:29.7

Hey there, sproutsouts. Today is Wednesday, June 16th, 2021. All week we are talking about Eucharistic adoration, and I have challenged myself to motivate each and every one of you

0:35.4

to make at least one holy hour this summer, to realize

0:38.9

what a gift, what a gift, what a gift it is, that Christ is always there waiting for us

0:44.6

in the simple disguise of a simple little piece of bread, but we know in fact that it is Jesus,

0:53.4

body, blood, soul, and divinity.

0:56.6

Illinois. He taught at the Catholic University of America for many years. He had a radio show,

1:45.1

television show where it was just him standing in front of a chalkboard talking about the

1:50.9

virtuous life. But it was so popular that actually won an Emmy. Can you believe that? There is a

1:57.6

venerable Catholic who won an Emmy for a television show.

2:02.8

So he did some pretty incredible things.

2:05.2

He wrote incredible books that are still cited today,

2:08.5

and he really, really wanted everyone that he taught to reject vice, embrace virtue,

2:15.2

and follow Christ more perfectly.

2:17.7

But when people asked him how he found the strength to do this to live a moral life

2:23.4

himself, he always said his strength came from his holy hour.
