Now, this week on the Catholic Spouts podcast, we are going be preparing for the great feasts that our church celebrates on Sunday.

This feast used to be called Corpus Christi.

Now we call it the most holy body and blood of Jesus.

Both celebrate the same thing.

We celebrate the fact that Jesus Christ was a real person on earth. He has now ascended back into heaven, but we still have him with us here. We have him truly present body, blood, soul, and divinity in the blessed sacrament of the altar in the Eucharist.

So we have a special day this coming Sunday where we just refocus on that and celebrate how this is true and this is such a miracle and a gift.

So many parishes throughout the world, including my own parish, will be having a Eucharistic

procession on this day. My church, we will be processing all the way through our little town.

If you have the opportunity, I encourage you to join in and do that. Make sure that you attend

Holy Mass and receive Holy Communion if you are old enough. And if you are able,

it is also a very special day to do some Eucharistic adoration. So to prepare for this

great feast day, we are going to talk about Eucharistic miracles that have happened through the

entire history of the church. Before we do this, however, I want you to know

that although these miracles are amazing, they do not prove that Christ is there. Of course, they are

evidence. They are amazing. They're sort of like little gifts from God to help us believe even more.

But the teaching of the church that Christ is truly present in the Eucharist comes from Holy Scripture. It comes from the
