| 0:31.3 | Hey there, Spouts. Today is Tuesday, May 11th, 2021. Now this week on the Catholic Spouts podcast, we are preparing for the great feast of the ascension of our Lord back into heaven |
| 0:37.1 | by talking about not only what happened at the ascension of our Lord back into heaven by talking about not only what happened |
| 0:39.5 | at the ascension, but what Jesus taught before he went into heaven and what we are challenged |
| 0:45.6 | to do now that he is back in heaven. So the first thing we need to understand is that while Jesus was |
| 0:53.2 | going through his public ministry, |
| 0:55.6 | he has sort of one goal, but that goal grew and expanded a ton after he rose from the dead. |

| 2:03.6 | And at first, Jesus actually says, no. |
| 2:06.6 | He says, I didn't come for everyone. I came for the lost sheep of Israel. |
| 2:11.6 | Of course, she begs Jesus and demonstrates true faith. |
| 2:15.6 | And because of her faith, Jesus does heal her daughter. |
| 2:19.4 | But it's clear, I came with the mission to gather in the lost sheep of Israel. |
| 2:24.3 | However, after he rises from the dead, he has a different message. |
| 2:29.3 | And in fact, we see that even from the moment of his death, he is working to bring all people into his family, |
