0:31.4	Hey there, Spouts. Today is Wednesday, May 12th, 2021. Today is also the feast day of St. Leopold Mandeke.
0:43.4	St. Leopold Mandeke was a monk, but he was also aback. It was very weak and sickly, but he was a powerhouse in the confessional. St. Leopold Mandike became known as a reader of souls. He would sit for
0:50.5	hours upon hours in the confessional, and many people would come a long way just to
0:55.6	have confession with him. He oftentimes would give incredible spiritual guidance while he was hearing
1:02.1	confession and he would also be able to pull out of people what their true sins and problems were.
1:13.5	He also was known to give very light penances,
1:20.0	just a couple of prayers. And he would tell them that he would take the penance on himself.
1:24.9	He would give them very light penance so they could get back to their life. But then after he sat in the confessional, he would go and do hours upon hours of prayer
1:30.4	and penance for the people whom he had just heard confession.
1:36.0	His major goal in life, which he wrote about, was just bringing unity, helping people be
1:42.1	reunified with God, to take away those blocks of sin, to tear down those
1:48.8	walls, and help people be unified with their loving father.
1:53.8	And so, my challenge, which I'll tell you again at the end of today's episode, if you
1:59.0	were old enough, I want you to think how long has been since
2:01.8	you were in confession. Maybe it's time to go again. Even if you went during Holy Week,
2:06.9	that was about a month ago, a little over a month ago now, and it might be time to go again.
2:12.4	So all week we have been talking about the ascension, which we are celebrating this week when Christ returned
2:19.3	to the Father and remains there in glory now. We talked about what happened at the ascension.
2:26.2	We talked about how after Jesus died, he no longer was just sent for the lost sheep of Israel.
2:33.7	Now he was determined to welcome all people
2:37.2	into his family, and he told his followers to go and make disciples of all nations.
