| 0:41.6 | Now, why are we going to spend time talking about the human body? Well, what does it mean to be a |
| 0:47.6 | human being? We know that God created us as human beings. And what does that mean? It means |

| 0:59.3 | Now, if we think about angels, we've all heard about angels. Angels just have spirits, right? |
| 1:05.0 | They have no body. But as human beings, we are unique in that we have a body and a soul. That's why when Jesus came |

| 1:23.2 | A baby. He chose to have a human body and a human soul. Now, because of the fact that we are body |
| 1:30.9 | and soul, what we do to one affects the other. So what we do to our bodies, how we take care |
| 1:38.8 | of ourselves, affects our souls. What we do to our souls, how we pray and things like that affects our bodies because |
| 1:46.3 | they are united. Now, we know that when we die, unfortunately, our bodies and souls are |
| 1:53.2 | separated, right? Our bodies are buried in the ground in cemeteries, and our souls, God willing, go to |
| 1:59.8 | heaven. Now, that was not a part of God's original plan. |
| 2:04.6 | Sin divides the body and the soul with death. But what we know from Revelation, and this is so |
| 2:11.0 | cool, is that in the second coming, our bodies will be resurrected. When Jesus rose from the dead, he rose with his body and soul. |
| 2:24.5 | We know that as we saw recently in the Feast of St. Thomas a couple weeks ago, we saw that Jesus had a body and he still had his wounds, and so our bodies are significant. |
| 2:36.6 | But let's talk about creation for a second. Let's talk about the creation of our bodies and why we |
| 2:42.0 | know they are significant and why we know they're good and why we know that God created them good. |
