Hey there, Sprouts. Today is Thursday, March 26th, 2020. This week on the Catholic Sprouts, we have been talking about the sin of greed. We've talked about how we have a complicated

relationship with money and possessions. But when we fall into greed, we are simply loving money and things too much and refusing to rely on God.

Yesterday, on the Feast of the Annunciation, we were reminded that Mary is the most beautiful example of trusting God, even when life is

Well, it has to do with one term.

2:15.0

It's kind of a big word, and that word is detachment. Detachment. What does that

2:23.1

mean? Well, it's the opposite of being attached. So think about the possessions that you own or even the

2:33.3

money that you might have.

2:35.1

If you are really attached to those things, it means that you would really hate to lose them.

2:43.2

If you're really attached to your money, you don't want to spend it.

2:47.0

You want to keep it.

2:48.6

If you really attach to this Lego set that you have, you would be devastated if someone came and took it from you want to keep it. If you're really attached to this Lego set that you have, you would be
