| 0:00.0 | You're listening to Catholic Sprouts, the daily podcast for Catholic kids that strives to plant seeds of faith. |
| 0:17.6 | Hey there, sprouts. Today is Friday, February 28, 2020. We also are in the season of Lent. |
| 0:30.9 | This week we are talking about Lent. We've already talked about what Lent is, how it is a time of |
| 0:36.4 | repair before Easter. We've talked about what we |
| 0:39.9 | see during Lent, what we hear and feel, and we talked about why we get the ashes on Ash Wednesday. |
| 0:48.4 | Yesterday we started talking about the various things we are called to do during Lent so that we |

| 1:32.2 | We can track it. |
| 1:32.9 | We can feel good about it. |
| 1:35.1 | Prayer, of course, is a little bit more loosey. |
| 1:38.5 | It's hard to nail it down. |
| 1:40.9 | Also, it's not uncommon for us to spend time in prayer and not get anything out of it. |
| 1:48.3 | And that's not just something that happens to children. |
| 1:50.8 | Even great saints like Mother Teresa went through long periods of her life where she would pray, pray, pray, but not necessarily feel God's grace being poured out on her. |
| 2:03.6 | Of course it was, but it just didn't have that feeling. |
