| 0:00.0 | You're listening to Catholic Sprouts, the daily podcast for Catholic kids that strives to plant seeds of faith. |
| 0:29.7 | Hey there, Sprout. Today is Monday, March 2nd, 2020. This week on the Katha Sprout's podcast, we are journeying through the first week of Lent by looking at our first vice. Now, all through Lent, we are going to be taking a close look at sin, |
| 0:42.6 | at all the various ways that sin can creep into our lives. And we are going to be doing this by looking at |
| 0:49.2 | the major vices or obstacles to virtue that can creep into our lives. |
| 0:57.1 | They will play out in each of our lives in a very different way, but as human beings, we are |
| 1:02.6 | each affected by each of these vices. |

| 1:47.2 | went in there, he saw that people, many of the people, weren't thinking at all about God. Instead, |
| 1:55.0 | they were in there. They had set up little shops to sell animals to be sacrificed. And they were simply there. It was like a store |
| 2:02.5 | or a marketplace. No one was there to worship God. They had corrupted this holy place. |
| 2:08.5 | And Jesus responded with anger. Intense anger. Some accounts even say that he made a whip and started |
| 2:16.1 | chasing people out of there. So as we can see through |
| 2:20.1 | Jesus' example, who was perfect, when we see things that are wrong, that are unjust, that are |
| 2:28.2 | defaming something sacred, it is actually the proper response to be angry. So if you have ever seen, for example, |
| 2:39.5 | maybe in the lunchroom, someone making fun of or bullying someone, and if that made you |
