Today we continue through our journey of the greatest story ever told, looking through the lens of

dragon slain and pointing out where each of the seven deadly dragon shows up in the story.

First we spotlighted the first man, Adam, and how he was wounded by the red dragon of pride.

Then we saw how the first couple, Adam and Eve, had two sons, and one of them,

Kane, was badly wounded by the orange dragon of envy, so much so that the blue dragon convinced

him to slay his brother Abel. Today we turn our focus to one holy family who was tasked with slaying

the yellow dragon of sloth. After Kane killed Abel, the world populated, not just with people, but with

dragons. The people were in league with the dragons. Sin was everywhere, corruption was everywhere,

so much so that God regretted the creation he had bade. Remember that God took a chance when he

created Adam and Eve by giving them free will. And that free will is what gave them the ability to love, because love is a choice.

But love is also risky, because there's always the possibility that the one you love may not

love you back.

You must freely love them, and they must freely love you back.
