Today is Wednesday, January 22nd, 2025.

Today is the feast day of a little girl from Chile, blessed Laura.

She was only 12 years old when she died, and yet she is remembered as blessed because she lived a life

totally dedicated to Jesus, despite family problems and even a violent and dangerous stepfather.

But at the end of her life, she said a prayer where she gave her life to Jesus in exchange

for the forgiveness of her mother's sins. She died. Her mother was converted and she is remembered

as a powerful saint. So let us all remember today, whether we are grown children or young

children, that we have an obligation to pray for our parents, and that we

are never too young to become saints. Now, this week on the Catholic Spouts podcast, we are talking

about natural law. As we dive into philosophy, we have been reminded that God, the immortal, eternal lawgiver,

created each of us and wrote his natural law on our hearts. Today we're going to dive a little bit

deeper into what natural law is. But before that, please join me in prayer. In the name of the Father and of the Son

and of the Holy Spirit, amen. Glory be to the Father, to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit,

as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be world without end amen in the name of the father

natural law is immutable permanent permanent, and cannot be changed.

It is universal over time and culture.
