This week we are returning to our series: The ABC's of the Catholic Faith. It's week seven, so that means we are on the letter G, and will be talking about Grace. Although this is a difficult topic (you can't see, touch, or smell grace!) we will do our best, and pray that God will help us understand Him and His gifts just a bit more fully!

+ MONDAY: What is Grace?

+ TUESDAY: What does Grace do in my life?

+ WEDNESDAY: Sanctifying Grace

+ THURSDAY: Actual Grace

+ FRIDAY: Grace and the Sacraments

The daily podcast for Catholic kids that strives to plant seeds of faith.

0:22.7

Hey there, sproutsouts. Today is Tuesday, October 1st, 2024. Today is one of my favorite

0:29.7

feast days of the whole year. Today is the feast day of St. Cherez of Lusu.

0:35.5

St. Cherez was a little French girl who grew up to be a French

0:39.8

Carmelite nun. She died when she was only 24 years old, and yet despite her short life,

0:48.5

1:20.9

amazed to be around. I'm certainly very ordinary. And Cherez was ordinary too. And yet she found that the little things that she was

1:37.3

that all of these things could be done with great love, that all of these tiny little moments

1:44.1

were opportunities to be saints,

1:47.8

to sacrifice, to unite our lives with Jesus Christ, and to one day get to heaven.

1:54.8

So St. Cherez gives us all hope that we can be saints, that if God put the desire to be a saint on our hearts, there must be

2:02.2

a way for us to fulfill that desire, and that we too can be little saints, just like Cherez,

2:09.9

and enter heaven one day. Now, this week on the Catholic Sprouts podcast, we are talking about the letter

2:16.9

G, which stands for

2:18.2

grace. We talked yesterday, our very best to define what grace is, although it's a very tricky
